Photo Gallery
Here is a collection of photos from around the Estate. We will add new pics as we take them. We hope you enjoy.

8n vs Oak tree
The time I crashed my tractor into a tree.

Milkweed Field
Milkweed planted for butterflies.

Ouch!
The tree didn't move out of the way.

Wild Strawberries
We have wild strawberries goring all over the Estate.

My favorite tool for trail making
A weed whip with a saw blade makes short work of brush when cutting new trails.

Learning to drive
My daughter wanted to learn how to drive the tractor, who was I to say no.

Dinosaur tracks?
Not really. More like turkey tracks.

We have water!
I drove in a sand point well so we would have water available at the Estate. Good thing we are on sand.

Food Plot
Part of the food plot planted in Sorghum

Poison Ivy
I hate Poison Ivy! There seems to be more and more of it around since we've started clearing the invasive brush out.

Mushroom (Puffball?)
There are lots of fungi growing around the Estate.

Bluegreen Fungi
Found a neat looking fungi on this log. Apparently, it's a little rare.

Bones!
Occasionally, we find bones around the Estate. Mostly from deer.

Freshly plowed
Milkweed field plowed and ready for the new milkweed to come up. I plow it to keep the invasive weeds down. The milkweed is not affected by the plowing.

More fungi
Another interesting looking fungi.

What the?!
This is a wooly looking fungi.

Flowers
Lots of flowers growing around the Estate.

Blackberries!
There are a few patches of blackberries and raspberries around the Estate.

Milkweed Flowers
Milkweed flowers attract pollinators. Some days, you can hear the bees buzzing in the field because there are so many.

Turkey Time!
The first turkey I took from the Estate. He weighed in a 24lbs and had a 8 inch beard.

Morells!
While turkey hunting I found a few Morell mushrooms

Morells for dinner
Found enough to have with dinner that night.

Vertebrae
Deer vertebrae I found in the woods.

We have POWER!
Solar panels in a "temporary" mounting to charge the battery on the camper.

Laying Cable
More "temporary" cable laying to get solar power to the camper.
